About the ever-evolving facility
We are 25 minutes north of Denver Colorado.
We have lots of high end equipment in the studio but these days,
amazing digital gear is pretty much within the buget of most recordists.
I have always liked the phrase "more EAR less GEAR."
Good mixes and good tone are as dependent on skill and experience
as they are on equipment. That being said most studios include the
obligitory gear rundown in their copy.
Here's ours (including but not limited to)
--SOFTWARE--
IZOTOPE is award-winning third party processing software. All my EQ, Transient and Dynamics processing is IZOTOPE ALLOY. For mastering and final polishing of tracks I use IZOTOPE OZONE.
Vocal and Instrumental performance editing software. When used properly this software will turn a good performance or take into a great one and a great performance into the stuff of legend. Just a little "Photoshop" for the music.
OTHER PROCESSING
When it comes to Special FX i.e., reverbs, delays, modulators etc., wow, there're too many to name. So much comes bundled with other software and every company from Eventide to T.C. Helicon all have their own software algorythmic versions of their rack gear...I'll just say we have plenty. If I don't have what you need I can download it in about two clicks of the mouse.
--HARDWARE--
